Gondwana, one of the most influential Latin American reggae bands, is ready to ‘Reggae & Roll’ Señor Frogs Miami, in September.
For the first time, the Chileans Gondwana shall hit the stage at Señor Frogs Miami, in September 11. Eventually, the rhythms of the popular group shall be the icing on the cake to complement this idiosyncratic venue. Moreover, Uma Galera recognized within the Miami indie- reggae music scene, will be the opening act.
Throughout 25 years, Gondwana’s music has delivered a message of love that originates from their lifestyle and experiences. Besides, the band established amidst a politically difficult era in Chile that eventually contributed to the composition. Furthermore, they have expressed on several occasions the need of experimenting with new sounds without losing the band’s essence. Thus, their latest album “Reggae & Roll” highlights newly fresh sounds mixed with the strong influence Gondwana acquired from the English band, ‘The Police’. As a matter of fact, founder- bassist I-Locks Labbé destiny changed at a presentation of ‘The Police’ in Chile at the internationally recognized ‘Festival of Viña del Mar.’
Currently, Gondwana is on tour along the Americas and coming to the U.S. on Sunday Sept. 6, their first stop will take place in California. Following, the reggae band will take the stage at Señor Frogs Orlando in Sept 10 and Miami in Sept. 11.
